The property is located 19 km from Kells Heritage Centre, 23 km from Jumping Church of Kildemock and 23 km from Solstice Arts Centre. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. We stayed there twice, one night at each end of our two-week holiday in Donegal. We found it a great place to spend our first night after a long flight to Dublin airport (which isn't too far away) and also for finishing off our trip in beautiful and relaxing surroundings. On previous trips to Ireland we'd stayed at other places in County Meath on our first and last nights and they had all been really good but Rathgillen Cabin has become our favourite. Peter, the host, is a very friendly and welcoming fella so we's love it if he'd come to stay with us at our home in Bulgaria some time. And the village has a handy shop, a great pub and a wonderful cafe where we had our final breakfast befor heading home. We were also delighted to discover that Nobber was the birthplace of the 17th Century blind harpist. Turlough O' Carolan whose music we've loved for a long time.

The lodge was beautiful, well decorated and exceptionally clean. The host was very friendly and helpful. There was an issue with the hot water prior to arriving, the host contacted me to let me know and offered to put me in another lodge until it was fixed the next day.

The property is non-smoking and is situated 16 km from Dublin North Suburb. Such great communication and great location. So perfect for what we needed after a long haul flight.

The Carranstown Lodge, a property with a garden and a bar, is situated in Duleek, 8.3 km from Bru na Boinne Visitor Centre, 12 km from Sonairte Ecology Centre, as well as 13 km from Dowth. The property is around 16 km from Slane Castle, 16 km from Monasterboice and 16 km from Hill of Slane. There is a restaurant serving British cuisine, and free private parking is available. Central location to suit our needs with a toddler and a small dog. Perfect for what we needed for an overnight stay in Duleek. We asked for a table and chairs to sit outside when the toddler was asleep and it was provided with ease. Excellent for parents of a young child. Big green to burn off extra energy before bed. We brought our own travel cot as discussed before our arrival and again was accommodated. We will be back.

The decor the homely atmosphere, the warmth we felt as soon as we entered the property. Like a home from home except total luxury. Beds were so comfy. Homemade bread.. Fresh eggs and cheese and wine on arrival.. Bliss

The holiday home also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. This was a lovely comfortable clean lodge with everything needed. Very cosy a christmassey with a little tree up which we loved. The host Peter was a gentleman and helped us out big time to get us to a wedding as no taxi was available. We were greeted by Patch the dog on arrival she was the best!

The spacious apartment has 2 bedrooms, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a microwave, a washing machine, and 2 bathrooms with a shower. Towels and bed linen are available in the apartment. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. Mullaghbeag Lodge is an amazing place to stay for a self drive exploring the Boynne valley. The facilities were spot on! Everything you need in a self catering Lodge.Very clean! Great parking, and a short drive away to a supermarket for supplies. If you fancy a few beers, then a taxi into Navan costs about 10 euros. We even had the use of Netflix and Amazon TV to take in a film after a long day taking in the beautiful sites!This was an added bonus! Patrick and family were very friendly and helpful! Highly recommend staying here
