The meals we enjoyed were also exceptional - lamb sourced from the property, and cod caught by her sons and husband, and freshly made waffles in the morning - what more could you ask for? Top to bottom glass walls with beautiful views over the bay with seals (telescope included!) - watching them was great! Supermarket less than a 5 minute drive away. Hosts were wonderful. If you are the area and looking for peace and quiet, look no further - very highly recommended!

Isafjordur Airport is 225 km from the property. Loved this place, yes the cabin is very small so we left our suitcases in the car but for the price and location it was one of our best stays on our 16 day ring road trip People mention problems with the hot tub but when we stayed the owner met us and explained how it worked and it was really great. Make sure you visit the turf houses nearby - next to the hotel with a pool in the distance.

The host was polite and hospitable, providing good information about the accommodation and surrounding attractions, well ahead of our stay.

Featuring free private parking, the lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as hiking and skiing. What a labour of love! This little house was the nicest accommodation on this trip. Small but perfectly done out. Well provisioned kitchen with a Nespresso machine and enough coffee for the entire stay. Hob, microwave and toaster, everything we needed for a great stay. Comfortable bed and the little ladder up to the sleeping loft wasn’t daunting although someone with mobility issues may struggle. We thought it was quite exciting. Very cute property, we absolutely loved it!
