The location was also perfect about a 5 min tuk tuk from the centre of Marissa which was perfect as it was far less chaotic in this location.

Located in Mirissa South, Sira’s Chalets is 82 km from Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport. Great breakfast and helpful hosts. One of the guys helped us reserve a whale-watching trip for a good price. Sunbeds are included in the price, which is cool. There's a good beach right near the property, suitable for swimming. The rooms are very basic and not new, but good-equipped. The table outside is great for reading and relaxing, especially if it's raining. The owner recommended a great place with Sri Lanka food. We also found a good souvenirs shop Sadaruwan

So many good things to say, just a few of them: - any needs are addressed and help is provided quickly, - nice family that tries to provide everything for your comfortable stay, - apartment is totally stunning, great design and facilities are well-equipped, - kitchen has everything you need for cooking on a daily basis, - clean room and bathroom, cozy blanket and beautiful wall paintings drawn by owner himself, wi-fi is acceptable, very good AC + fan, - you can see a lot of wild life since the house is in the jungle area (monkeys, chipmunks, many birds, river with crocodiles), - calm environment for quality rest, far from noisy roads, (exception - night from saturday to sunday), - room clean up every few days, - bike/bicycle rental and water delivery upon request for additional fee Overall, it's an amazing place to stay, I was carefully choosing and comparing many places in the similar price range in Weligama, and this one was the best option even though it's a bit far from city. You can totally go for it, won't regret!!!!!!!!!!!❤️
