Our weekend stay was at best. Wonderful accommodation. Warm welcome from Samanta and Quentin! All the staff is very friendly - the food in the smokehouse excellent as well as the breakfast. The air-conditioned accommodation is 45 km from Ratelfontein Station, and guests can benefit from private parking available on site and free WiFi. Clanwilliam Museum is 22 km away and Clanwilliam Golf Course is 24 km from the villa. The cabin is well equipped, a cool design and the location is amazing. The gravel road was concern, as my car is very low (golf gtd)... but it was a decent gravel road.

The chalet also includes outdoor fireplace and a picnic area for a day out in the open. Rocklands Eco Retreat is the perfect example of an ingenious use of space and the surrounding landscape to create an extraordinary escape filled with silence, solitude and exceptional scenery. Indoors is immaculately and stylishly furnished and the ample windows make you feel like you're outside when you're inside. Quite literally, this is a "room with a view" and, somehow, you experience a "melting into nature" that's difficult to describe. The outdoor shower is simply sensational - we'll have to try the outdoor bath next time.... The vistas and views are incredible and the places of interest in the surrounding vacinity are well worth visiting. For example, at the Hen House (across the road), we tasted (and procured) olives (lots), olive oil (lots) and wine (lots and lots). This Rocklands couple's destination was by far our best accommodation choice during our twelve-day road trip! Thank you to Simon and team for a perfect experience!

There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. Great place to rewind. Loved swimming in the river to cool off especially when accompanied by one of the cute dogs and the friendly cat. Amazing dinners served and eaten with interesting and friendly hosts.

The chalet offers a hot tub. Peaceful place with beautiful cabins and lots of nice touches. Hot tubs and pool were wonderful, hikes with beautiful views. Check in was very easy! Great place to be immersed in nature but still have all the modern comforts.

Citrusdal Country Lodge has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a garden and shared lounge in Citrusdal. Boasting room service, this property also welcomes guests with a restaurant, a casino and a terrace. Guests can make use of a bar. The room was great and spacious and so was the pool. The friendly personnel helped und with everything we needed. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay.
