Their kindness and attentiveness made us feel right at home. 🐾 The Dogs! – We absolutely fell in love with Layla—what a beautiful soul! We already miss her so much. Peanut, Raisin, and the little Jack Russell (whose name escapes me) were also such wonderful companions. It was a joy having them around. 🏡 The Chalet – Simply amazing! It was beyond what we had imagined—spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. 🌿 The Lodge & Surroundings – The entire place is breathtaking. The natural beauty of Oribi Gorge combined with the peaceful atmosphere of the lodge made for the perfect getaway. Thank you for such an unforgettable experience! We will definitely be back.

There is a private bathroom with shower in all units, along with free toiletries and a hairdryer. Location, location, location This property is a small gem in the KwaZulu-Natal game reserve area. It has a small private game reserve where you can view giraffe, gnala, impala, wildebeest and tons of birds at a nice slow pace but is minutes away from others close by where you can view the big 5. The price/value ratio is excellent. The service is astoundingly good! Marli was just wonderful booking all the game drives that we wanted. Duiker has an excellent future ahead for itself.

Guests at Sasi Africa Luxury Tented Bush Lodge will be able to enjoy activities in and around Bergville, like hiking and walking tours. The luxury tent also features outdoor fireplace and a picnic area for a day out in the open. I loved just sitting on my deck of my glamping tent and listen to the wind in the trees and the birds. Tents were very comfortable, good bed, beautiful bathroom and I woke up on a cold morning where I made a fire and took a warm bath, a relaxing place to be. Staff is very kind. There’s one gamedrive per day included where nature is beautiful, there are no elephants but this means beautiful trees. You can book a drive to see rock art of earlier people. Food is very good, creative with great combinations of tastes and spices. We were sad to leave.

There is also a seating area and a fireplace. Friendly and helpful staff lots of family friendly activities on the property. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub and pool.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Highbourne Cottages is a recently renovated chalet situated in Winterton, 10 km from Monks Cowl Country Club. The chalet, set in a building dating from 1940, is 34 km from Winterton Museum and 50 km from Spioenkop Nature Reserve. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The location is amazing and the hosts are wonderful!
