The tented accommodation was incredibly spacious and beautifully designed, blending into the surrounding landscape while still feeling like a high-end suite. Inside, the large bed was as plush and comfortable as any five-star hotel, complete with crisp linens and cozy throws. The kitchenette was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare meals with ease – though, truth be told, we spent most of our time cooking outside. The outdoor braai area was perfect.and the wood-fired hot tub was the cherry on top – perfect for unwinding under the stars with a glass of wine in hand. The best part? The wildlife. From the comfort of our deck, we watched ostriches strut by, zebras grazing in the distance, and waterbuck meandering through the bush. It was like having our own personal safari without ever leaving the tent. This is glamping at its finest – all the immersion of the wilderness with none of the roughing it. Highly recommend for anyone looking to reconnect with nature without sacrificing comfort.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The staff has been exceptional and well trained, super helpful and friendly. A proper warm South African welcome. The food (almost too much of it) the heated pool, the spa, the drinks on the deck, the game drives, the views, rooms are super clean and fresh towels whenever you need. There really isn’t anything not to like. It was a magical restful time and exactly what we needed after a crazy year.

Gorgeous property, very clean and well-stocked. Excellent locations and beautiful views. The kitchen has everything you might need, including Tupperwares for leftover food. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will be back!

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Really great lodge right next to Kruger. We stayed here only for a night before driving into Kruger the next day, but it was such a good evening. When we arrived we immediately jumped into the refreshing pool and had a chat and a beer with the other people who stayed at the lodge. Then the owners of the lodge prepared an amazing braai for us and we ate together with everyone who stayed there, which was so cozy! Highly recommend if you are looking for a familial vibe and cozy hangout with other travellers.

Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport is 52 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. The staff, facilities, food and drink were fantastic. The game drives were a lot of fun, and animals were visible right from the lux property.

Kinyonga Reptile Centre is 16 km from Muunga Bush Lodge & Spa, while Timbavati Private Nature & Game Reserve is 48 km away. Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport is 7 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. It’s hard to pick just one thing we liked, because honestly, this was one of the best stays we’ve had in all our extensive travels. Missing out on a place like this would be a real shame, the accommodation, interior, and rooms were absolutely top-notch. The location was also perfect for visiting Kruger National Park. A big thank you to Ruan and his wife for making the experience even more unforgettable. Do not miss this spot while you can!
