The lodge provides guests with a patio, pool views, a seating area, a TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and an oven, and a private bathroom with bath and free toiletries. We stayed in the 2 BR villa called the Farmhouse, in a fully enclosed and secure area populated by wandering wildebeest, springbok and other birds and animals. The unit was well-spaced from other units. It was well built of concrete, tastefully furnished and supplied with high quality sheets and towels. The kitchen was generously provisioned with a multi-function oven, gas oven, and plenty of crockery and cookware, towels and rubbish bags. There was an outside under-cover dining/lounge room with a brai and spa. There were 2 large bedrooms with lockable connecting door. Contact with our hosts was virtual, but they responded quickly and were helpful. There was plenty of opportunity to spot animals from the house and on walks in the neighbourhood.

The provided chalet is fitted with 2 bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a dining area and 1 bathroom with a hot tub and shower. Towels and bed linen are offered in the chalet. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. The tented accommodation was incredibly spacious and beautifully designed, blending into the surrounding landscape while still feeling like a high-end suite. Inside, the large bed was as plush and comfortable as any five-star hotel, complete with crisp linens and cozy throws. The kitchenette was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare meals with ease – though, truth be told, we spent most of our time cooking outside. The outdoor braai area was perfect.and the wood-fired hot tub was the cherry on top – perfect for unwinding under the stars with a glass of wine in hand. The best part? The wildlife. From the comfort of our deck, we watched ostriches strut by, zebras grazing in the distance, and waterbuck meandering through the bush. It was like having our own personal safari without ever leaving the tent. This is glamping at its finest – all the immersion of the wilderness with none of the roughing it. Highly recommend for anyone looking to reconnect with nature without sacrificing comfort.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The staff has been exceptional and well trained, super helpful and friendly. A proper warm South African welcome. The food (almost too much of it) the heated pool, the spa, the drinks on the deck, the game drives, the views, rooms are super clean and fresh towels whenever you need. There really isn’t anything not to like. It was a magical restful time and exactly what we needed after a crazy year.

With lake views, this accommodation offers a balcony and a swimming pool. The apartment provides garden views, an outdoor fireplace and a 24-hour front desk. We had an absolutely lovely time at the semi-off grid cabins. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.

Featuring garden views, Masorini Bush Lodge & Safari Tents in Phalaborwa features accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a terrace, a bar and barbecue facilities. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Really great lodge right next to Kruger. We stayed here only for a night before driving into Kruger the next day, but it was such a good evening. When we arrived we immediately jumped into the refreshing pool and had a chat and a beer with the other people who stayed at the lodge. Then the owners of the lodge prepared an amazing braai for us and we ate together with everyone who stayed there, which was so cozy! Highly recommend if you are looking for a familial vibe and cozy hangout with other travellers.

Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport is 7 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. We thought we were only going to crash for a night after a long flight and before starting a safari the next day, but we were absolutely mind blown by how amazing everything was. Perfect location in the middle of what is called "Wildlife Estate" which gives you a chance to see wild animals strolling nearby (we almost saw all the same animals we saw on the safari strolling around the lodge), this is an astounding place with a beautiful room which makes you feel you're in a dream! Last but not least - Ruan and Jenny were very friendly and informative on things to do, and even gave us recommendations about Cape Town which was our next stop. For a small fee, we pre-arranged dinner (which was delicious and cooked by one of their chefs) and transfer from the Hoedspruit airport as well. Communication was easy and Ruan was very responsive. It was such a shame that we only spent one night - had we known how calm and beautiful it all was, we would have 100% extended our stay. So sad to have left but I rave about it. There couldn't have been a more perfect welcome to South Africa.

The owner put a unique touch in everything she makes from the style of the place to just prepare a cup of tea for you putting flowers on the tray . Here you can have a five stars service and the exclusivity of just being the only guest, so special!!
