Excellent location, wonderful, helpful staff, attention to small details and things a guest may need. The snacks and drinks and coffee machine were way over our expectations, or what we received elsewhere. And the view from the window was incredible.

The convento di san colombo is a beautiful hotel where you can find quietness, a lovely room and a beautiful outside space with a beautiful view. Overall the perfect environment to relax. The hotel restaurant is highly recommended, reasonably priced and also offers vegetarian options. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Also they were extremely helpful when we had troubles with our car as they managed the communication in italian for us. They even went ahead and organized a place for us where we got the car fixed easily and fast.

We were first time in San Stefano and surprised with the beauty of the village. Ettore gave us hints for the trip. We had interesting conversation. Apartment was very clean, nicely furnished. Breakfast was excellent. We loved home made yoghurt.

All you need for breakfast is provided and filled up every day by our lovely host Claudia. La Torre is perfect starting point for hiking and sightseeing in the fantastic nature around.
