    I was there for a hybrid of work and skiing.

    I was there for a hybrid of work and skiing. The ski resort is not very big but had decent long runs, and it was super easy to get from the gondola in the middle of the town. Went hiking around, there are some easily marked trails. I also liked the comics museum.

    We stayed in La Massana for the mountain bike championships...

    We stayed in La Massana for the mountain bike championships for ease of access to the cable cars and event. There were plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops. I would recommend Grupetta cafe and Babek restaurant. The views all around are stunning!!

    La Massana is a nice base for exploring Andorra if you want...

    La Massana is a nice base for exploring Andorra if you want to be outside of ALV (whch is only a 15 minute drive). It's got a good selection of restaurants and shops, and it's easy to get around to see the rest of the country from there. We were there in the fall, before ski season started, so enjoyed lots of color and little traffic.

    Good central location handy for access to other towns...

    Good central location handy for access to other towns valleys as well as activities. Good range of eating places, regular transport service many walking trails also too surrounding villages. During day not the most tranquil of places but that may be part of it's fascination it is almost like being in London but in the heart of the mountains.

    La Massana is a quiet ski resort in comparison to others I have been to over the years. If you want good skiing, good food, and a relaxed atmosphere then this is definitely the location for you. If you want high energy Apres Ski though, then not so much. It may just be as a result of covid but I don't think so, this just seems like a more laid back resort, more focused on family than partying.

    La Massana is a lovely town with lots of restaurants,bars...

    La Massana is a lovely town with lots of restaurants,bars and cafes. The telecabine gets you up to the Pal ski area in 6 mins and this links to the Arinsal ski area via a cable car. The Vallnord team are really excellent from the lift operators to the mountain restaurant staff and the ski school instructors, all were friendly and extremely courteous.

    Perfect location with small yet very comfortable and clean hotel rooms! Balcony was a super welcomed addition and we spent plenty of time on there. The staff were amazing - shout out to Sylvie & Cristina on reception who couldn’t have been more welcoming, helpful & friendly. Breakfast was great with a varied spread of hot & cold options. Ski storage was super convenient - very easy & quick. We would definitely stay again!

    Fabulous location. 5 minutes walk to the ski lift and 15 minutes later your'e up on the slopes. The hotel staff were very friendly. There is a great bar which serves snacks. The restaurant doesn't open til 7.30pm which is quite common for the area but we would prefer to eat earlier. Great selection of food at breakfast.

    On arrival we were upgraded to a suite on the fourth floor which was a lovely surprise. Magic Ski is located within walking distance of the shops, cafes and amenities. The buffet breakfast had everything you could need and catered for all dietary requirements (including vegetarians and vegans).

    Great location, friendly helpful staff, good size rooms clean and functional, decor a little dated. Amazing breakfast, just what you need before hitting the slopes, probably the best thing about our stay. Parking was a bit expensive but that's probably normal for Andorra.
