We loved the location of this hotel. It was right next to a little stream which added to the relaxing environment. Also, the restaurant on site was absolutely delicious and definitely worth the price! Our balcony looking at the mountains was also a great addition and the staff was fantastic!

    I was there for a hybrid of work and skiing. The ski resort is not very big but had decent long runs, and it was super easy to get from the gondola in the middle of the town. Went hiking around, there are some easily marked trails. I also liked the comics museum.

    We stayed in La Massana for the mountain bike championships...

    We stayed in La Massana for the mountain bike championships for ease of access to the cable cars and event. There were plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops. I would recommend Grupetta cafe and Babek restaurant. The views all around are stunning!!

    La Massana is a nice base for exploring Andorra if you want...

    La Massana is a nice base for exploring Andorra if you want to be outside of ALV (whch is only a 15 minute drive). It's got a good selection of restaurants and shops, and it's easy to get around to see the rest of the country from there. We were there in the fall, before ski season started, so enjoyed lots of color and little traffic.

    Good central location handy for access to other towns...

    Good central location handy for access to other towns valleys as well as activities. Good range of eating places, regular transport service many walking trails also too surrounding villages. During day not the most tranquil of places but that may be part of it's fascination it is almost like being in London but in the heart of the mountains.

    La Massana is a quiet ski resort in comparison to others I have been to over the years. If you want good skiing, good food, and a relaxed atmosphere then this is definitely the location for you. If you want high energy Apres Ski though, then not so much. It may just be as a result of covid but I don't think so, this just seems like a more laid back resort, more focused on family than partying.

    La Massana is a lovely town with lots of restaurants,bars...

    La Massana is a lovely town with lots of restaurants,bars and cafes. The telecabine gets you up to the Pal ski area in 6 mins and this links to the Arinsal ski area via a cable car. The Vallnord team are really excellent from the lift operators to the mountain restaurant staff and the ski school instructors, all were friendly and extremely courteous.

    We really loved how quiet this accomodation is, We felt really lucky to have stumbled this place on booking.com., we slept like babies at night, breakfast was full on We weren't even hungry til the afternoon. Great location! near local groceries and a short walk to sport boutiques. we haven't finished exploring andorra. We will definitely come back!! Our host Franz was very accomodating and kind, We felt comfortable the moment we spoke with him. Gave us a ride back to the central station which we appreciate!

    Second visit to this hotel as we enjoyed it so much the first time. This trip was sadly marred by a large group of families who had zero control over their children and left them unsupervised running riot round the hotel. The hotel staff did their best to deal with the situation. However, most of the adults had no respect and did nothing.
