Did not have breakfast. I liked the congenial owner Ron Collins and his wife very much. Grounds have dozens of gorgeous, well-tended flowering plants, especially bouganvillas. and owner has large walled property, with building and grounds to host weddings. From my room I could see a little of English Harbour. It's only two or three miles to English Harbour and the marvelous Nelson's Dockyard. There are several types of rooms available; mine was a very basic, inexpensive studio with fan (cool enough for me), just fine because that's all I needed. Owner showed me two of the air conditioned larger rooms with kitchenettes which would be better for couples or families. Good prices.

The service from all the staff was impeccable. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make us feel welcome and nothing was a problem for them. They were charming, always smiling and very professional. The room was very spacious and comfortable; the pool was small but lovely; the view over the marina, whilst not the beachside tropical paradise one might have hoped for, was nevertheless interetsing to watch and still great. The breakfasts were superb and the dinner we had one night also excellent. The location, within very easy walking distance of Nelson's Dockyard, numerous restaurants and bars, the vibrant beach of Pigeon Point, was ideal. In summary, the hotel was exceptional.
