The beaches are awefull around Cape Rodon.
The beaches are awefull around Cape Rodon. Lot's of trash and garbage floating around the beaches and sea. Currently there are 2 newly built resorts (Saint Michelle Residence and Resort Arbeni) being demolished for unknown reasons. Our first booked accomodation let us know that they had to cancel our booking due to Albanian new legislation (Piceri Rodoni). In my opinion it is better to stay at the beaches of Dürres and visit the cape as half a day trip. But if you want to have a non-active holiday, Rodoni resort is the best place you could imagine to stay.Guest review byRoBelgium - 10.0

Very beautiful beach, clean air surrounded by pine trees, family oriented, a lot of fresh and testy quality local food. Outstanding sunrise and sunset. The best I have ever seen so far. We were not directly in the city but near the beach of San Pietro.Our place was beautiful , clean with a nice long beach. I would not recommend the city itself for accommodation due to dirty beach with a not very nice smell during our visit. I definitely recommend going further south or outside the city.
