Castle was big, but we liked Berat's better.
Castle was big, but we liked Berat's better. Hills are brutal to climb. Cars going in opposite directions on the same street are often a problem. If you are not on the main streets, gps will tell you to make near impossible turns. We came late and there was no problem for check in. It has a luxurious but relaxed vibe, children were very well received. We did get lost on our way there in the narrow streets of Gjirokastër.
