The house is truly charming, built in wood with large bay windows offering breathtaking views of the magnificent mountains. You immediately feel connected to the surrounding nature. A big thank you to the whole family for their warm welcome: to Artyom’s father, who drove us up in his 4x4, giving us an amazing experience on those winding roads, always with good humor and a smile; and to Artyom and his wife for the delicious dinner and the wonderful visit to Smbataberd. It is an exceptional place . It is located in the picturesque side where you can enjoy the view of mountains, green nature , look at the sky all covered with stars at night. The house is a brand new, very well hand- made in a stylish manner. In the house there is everything what you may need, actually it is possible to live there for a long term very easily. There is a large apple garden outside at the disposal of guests with wooden benches, hammock where you can happily relax. Owners are very pleasant people with whom it is nice to chat. In addition, they cooked us a great dinner despite the late hour.

The Legend Guest House was one of our best experiences so far in Armenia. The hospitality from the whole family was simply overwhelming. We got home made fish, beans and salad for dinner - with fabulous self made wine and wodka - and a variety of breakfast options. It was not only delicious, but also so much food we cannot eat it all, even though we are good eaters. ;-) The room is small, but you can also use a living room with comfortable couches and you have a private bathroom. If you like to hike you have a great option to hike to a fortress and a monastery just around the corner. Everything was clean and comfortable. But the best thing about this guesthouse is the family that welcomes you, makes you feel at home and takes care of you. Don't hesitate to book this guesthouse, you won't be disappointed.
