My stay at Intercontinental Luanda Miramar was excellent. Accommodations are very clean and comfortable, amazingly delicious food, apart from the service a La Carte there is a Buffet service for breakfast, lunch and dinner with various choices / options including a proper sushi service. And if you like a good whisky like me there is 24hr bar on the ground floor, fast internet service, the gym is nice, full breakfast where you get to tell the chef your favorite egg style. Would like to send a big thank you to Mr. Nuno (General Manager) for interacting with the guests. special thank you to the rest of the staff who is very supportive, always wearing a smile, especially Ms. Diana, Ms. Marlene, Ms. Ciana and Sebastiao. Finally, to the front desk team for such a great service provided. Keep it up. Thank you

I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Protea Angola. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The service was excellent, and everything was handled with great care and efficiency. What truly stood out was the special attention from the Manager, who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort — that personal touch was the cherry on top of an already great stay. Wonderfully kind and caring staff. Mr Hugo was incredibly helpful and attentive and everyone I met at the hotel couldn't have been nicer. Good location, felt very safe and comfortable in the hotel. Was an easy walk to the centre of the city and waterfront, felt safe to do so on my own during daylight at least. A very lovely stay. Obrigado!!

I have lived in Talatona (Palmeira area) for almost 4 years and stayed in this hotel and did business many times. Their service and value for money in Luanda in my view difficult to match or do better.

I loved everything about the hotel, the experience was beyond impeccable. The reception Team, Janeth and Silvano, were incredible with communication and hospitality. I was amazed. Jany was incredible being super helpful, and knowledgeable too. Goncalves was extremely supportive during our stay. The ladies at the Menzanine area, were so friendly and kind. The gentleman at the rooftop was so great and made the best caipirinha. Bruna as a Comercial Director is doing a fantastic job with team. Excited to comeback already. Very appreciative of the care and attention to the detail too.

    Beautiful city and very clean in some parts.

    Beautiful city and very clean in some parts. Other parts are really filthy with lots of rubbish. The people are friendly, the food isn't bad; sometimes too salty and not spicy enough. The weather is wonderful, sunny but cool. The traffic is unbearable. There are mosquitoes, so come prepared. It's a place I would visit again.

    Visa or Mastercard is not widely accepted at all places. and some shops only take Cash but does not have change for larger notes that the ATM's give you. the Beach front restaurants mostly do take Visa/Mastercard and most CBD hotels. but the further you stay/travel outside Luanda most places only take cash(small notes) and local bank cards.

    Firstly, the facilities are wonderful. I get what is effectively suite room with lots of space on a city known for expensive hotel. Secondly, Ana, the manager, was just helpful when I had difficulty reaching my Yango transfer taxi to go to the airport. She spoke to the driver and ensured that he got to the guesthouse to fetch me.
