What were your favourite places there?
What were your favourite places there? The Sommerrodelbahn, The Cable Car, The Postalm Panoramastrasse and the drive through Fischbach. What we highly recommend is a nice walk through the town and surrounding places itself!! This is a very very pretty place. Where did you eat? We cooked ourselves. However, we bought groceries at the Spar market in the town. Is it easy to get around Abtenau? Yes. The town is very accessible. We, however, did not use the public transport. What would you avoid on your next visit? Nothing really. The place offers a lot of things to a tourist!Guest review byAjithIndia

The mountain view from the room and the garden was astonishing, watching sun rise and sun set was breathtaking. The location is great and strategic, with easy access to Salzburg, Hallstadt, Mondsee, Attersee, St.Wolfgangsee and other. Hotel is situated in the center of Abtenau, close to a pharmacy, Spar and main square with bars where concerts are often taking place. Super clean, super quiet, all the necessary was there, nice views, very near to Abtenau, supermarkets... The owner was very friendly with us and the kids, they have lots of local info and prepare the tourist card before you arrive for discounts and public transport.
