The hotel is located in an unbelievably beautiful place in the mountains. It provides breakfast and dinner, because there are no places around to eat :-) the food is tasty. It's very dog friendly, the neighbourhood is just perfect for dogs to have run and fun.

Staying in the vaults of this well-kept 1432 building in the historic centre of picturesque Eisenerz was wonderful. The new proprietors Tibi and Tamara were incredibly hospitable. The rooms were spacious and charming.

We were looking for quite place surrounded by mountains - and we got what we wanted! The town is very small, feels like everyone knows everyone, good hikes around, some good attractions near by. Host was helpful and responsive, answered all our text in a very timely manner and helped us a lot. We felt welcomed and taken care of.

    The mine is interesting - but most enjoyable for German...

    The mine is interesting - but most enjoyable for German language. The town is really nice - here more time you can count just for walking down on old streets. We did not have too good weather for Leopoldsteiner see - in a better time this can be also a good program. The best part however was the walk we made next to the ski jump area - the real beautiful Austrian landscape with nice view, small farmhouses, good hiking trails - best for cycling and also for walking. Here you can really count a day.

    The location is very nice if you do not like the busy places. Very hard to find people that are speaking English. You can do a lot of activities: swimming, hiking, climbing, cross country ski. I do not fully understand the trail rules for the cross-country sky. Some tourists had access to the trails other no, the lady from JUFA hotel front desk could not explain because she does not speak English/ we do not speak German. But for a location as much advertised for cross country ski the hotel could provide the rules in couple of foreign languages. We felt a bit discriminated.

    Need a car, otherwise a taxi.

    Need a car, otherwise a taxi. Too far to walk from Eisernerz. Ideal for hiking, can't comment on winter skiing. Staff were helpful, courtious, polite and alive. Evenongh meal should be ordered in advance, as they only cater for known numbers. However, they were able to accommodate me. Would recommend it.

    Very picturesque old town & church, sadly some buildings in need of repair Vitalbad swimming pool was an unexpected & great value find, nice to cool off & relax Leopoldsteiner lake a couple of km outside the town is very pretty & a nice circular walk around it Recommend area for mountain views

    We had a fantastic stay at Eisenerzer Apartments! The room was perfect—just what we needed for our trip to attend the Erzbergrodeo. The host was very thoughtful, keeping us updated and even letting us know the best times to shop since local stores had limited hours. The shared kitchen was a great bonus—well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. The location is excellent, and the cleanliness was absolutely spot on. All in all, we had a fabulous stay. Highly recommended!

    Everything as described. Apartment was equipped with a microwave, stove and all the needed kitchenware, even a toster. It's important because there's not much options for dinning in Eisenerz. It's really a self-catering accommodation. The localization is splendid if you like outdoors, a lot of hiking trials nearby, a beautiful lake (you can rent an electric boat), via ferratas, rafting, a cave (Frauenmauerhöhle). Cut in a half Erzberg mountain is a unique and beautiful sight.

    Very nice hotel surrounded by beautiful mountains. We appreciated quiet location, also the hotel and equipment cleanliness, comfort, tasty food and parking place available. Special thanks to staff members for their effort to help, their willingness and their attitude to do their best for us.     This hotel is terrible. I would not recommend it to anybody. WIFI does not work in the appartment. Piles of dust lay on the floor. There are spiders on the wall and in every corner in all rooms. Greasy and dirty pillows are in the kitchen. Dirty and rusty toilet. Greasy and dirty dishes and pots in the kitchen. Rotten potatoes in the cupboard.
