Maria Alm, shall be connected with other Ski areas in the region - the skipass Hochkoenig is more expensive and offers nothing spectacular apart of the fact that you can also use the ski areas 150 km away (but who cares ???) I was very dissapointed that Saalbach / Hinterglem / Leogang and Maria alm are so close but you have to buy separate skipasses . That is nothing you expect. In my opinion it is a big a disadvantage. The hotel was very cute and nicely decorated and had a large garden with herbs and vegetables. We regrettably arrived very late but one can enjoy to stay their terrace and enjoy the drinks. The room was clean and comfortable had a nice interior. The nicest thing was the host who took great time with us to chat for long time. Fabulous views from the balcony and the apartment was very spacious and comfortable for four people. In a great position for everything Maria Alm has to offer and has the added bonus of car parking.
