MIttersill is not a big town, but it sits in the middle of an amazing area full of mountain views, castles, and amazing hiking especially if you use the many, many ski lifts in the area to get up into the mountains. Location gives easy access to Kitzbuhel, Grossglockner Pass, and numerous parks and beautiful hiking areas. Recommend staying out of town in the many properties available on the hillsides. This cabin was absolutely stunning, cozy place.
This cabin was absolutely stunning, cozy place. We were there in group of 7 (a family) and were very satisfied. There are two roads to access the accommodation, from the main road (steep) and from the back road (more safe in winter). The host speaks mainly German, so be aware of that and learn some words if you’re not speaking german language. Shower has very nice hot water, view is splendid, location great. The owners are very friendly and make sure everything is to your liking. The room was very comfortable, well furnished, super clean, plenty of hot water for a shower. The Chalet is only 50 metres from the ski bus stop and 10 minute walk into the beautiful town of Mittersill. The breakfast is one of the finest I’ve experienced in the Tirol region, delicious.
