MIttersill is not a big town, but it sits in the middle of an amazing area full of mountain views, castles, and amazing hiking especially if you use the many, many ski lifts in the area to get up into the mountains. Location gives easy access to Kitzbuhel, Grossglockner Pass, and numerous parks and beautiful hiking areas. Recommend staying out of town in the many properties available on the hillsides. This cabin was absolutely stunning, cozy place.
This cabin was absolutely stunning, cozy place. We were there in group of 7 (a family) and were very satisfied. There are two roads to access the accommodation, from the main road (steep) and from the back road (more safe in winter). The host speaks mainly German, so be aware of that and learn some words if you’re not speaking german language. Shower has very nice hot water, view is splendid, location great. Restaurants, shops and bars in Mittersill are just a couple of minutes walk away. Good flat parking for the motorcycle. The breakfast was fantastic! 4 menus to choose from and possibility to add extra things. Cereal was a fantastic yoghurt with cereal and fresh berries. Apartment (balcony or garden) with big living room and bedroom. Kitchen very complete, all rooms and bathroom very clean and cool also on a hot day. Big bed and plenty space for rainy days. Smart TV including Netflix etc. Bread service, it's about 10 minutes driving to Mittersill. Nice view over valley. There is also a balcony where you can sit and enjoy the view. They also gave us "summer card" which provided free access to national museum in Mittersill (we highly recommend to visit it) and free access to Grossglockner high alpine road, and many other activities.
