This Hotel was like a winter wonderland it's warm and friendly staff are welcoming and approachable. The scenery is stunning to say the least. On arrival to the hotel our room was presented with lots of little goodies such as a platter of bakery treats with large bottle of mineral water. We then had a complementary lunch with soup and cake with hot beverage of choice. These little touches really made our stay memorable. My visit was one of sadness in a sense was with my best friend who is very ill and I just wanted a memory that we could share I think I will book again in new year it was the perfect place to relax or ski and explore. For just a while we was able to forget about our troubles and just be in a little paradise. I would recommend anyone who loves natures beauty to visit this spectacular hotel. I will be returning there when I next have a chance.

The most fantastic service. I was doing climbing in this area and I asked for a take out breakfast due to an early start. the lady prepared a massive bag full of delicious food and personally delivered to my room. The following day she made me another fabulous breakfast in the restaurant and even prepared some food that wasn't on the menu as I just fancied something extra. She also gave me a discount card for local services. She was fantastic to talk to and it was the most personal experience in a hotel I've ever had and she made my stay very special. Additionally the room was a very good size and super clean. The hotel itself looked like it was recently renovated and it was very tastefully decorated. There is massive car park in front, good WiFi (very important as the mobile signal in the area just doesn't exist) and a spectacular view from the window! I would highly, highly recommend Marmotta Alpin Hotel!

The apartment was great! All windows were to the stream side- perfect natural white noise from running water. We slept with all windows open and had a wonderful night rest! Big balconies and safe for children. Apartment was worth even more than 10 scores! The location is wonderful: nice mountain Hochkonig views and many attractions, wonderful locations are quite nearby. Totally recommend for families. You can get a baby crib and high-chair if You need. Still dreaming about coming back there again! <3

    The hotel is great.

    The hotel is great. Located quite high and therefore needs some time to drive up the mountain. Not much to do around the hotel itself, but the facilities in it offer a relaxed evening indoors. In winter with snowy roads, one need tire chains for your car to get up there.

    Different activities are possible near the apartment. With the hochköningcard it ia possible to take different lifts into the mountains. Even in different villages. With the card you can get discount on different activities. Naar the apartment the is a supermarket and a bakery.

    Location was absolutely stunning, if you love nature. Hotel is under high mountains, in the middle of nowhere, but I consider it as a plus, because the only noise you can hear there is nature and you can meet cows, and do some hikes. Also all staff we met were really nice and helpful. And we had delicious dinner and breakfast there. Nothing to complain.

    Nice place. We had quite bad weather and not much to do at the hotel. But short dive (but very winding road) to other places in the vicinity. Restaurant with ok but limited choice. Room was good size and adequate for 5 persons for a few days. Owner super nice.

    Very good hotel. Cosy accommodation with mountain river view. Staff is super friendly, special thanks for late check-in. Breakfast is rich and tasty. Summer card allows you to use cable car in Maria Alm for free with breathtaking mountain/valley view.
