Martina’s guesthouse was spotless, peaceful, and very comfortable — one of the cleanest and most welcoming places I’ve stayed in. The bed was cozy, the setting quiet, and everything was prepared with great care. But what made this stay unforgettable was Martina herself. When I told her I had come to Horn to visit the town my grandmother lived in before the war, she helped connect me with people who had known my grandparents personally. Thanks to her, I discovered photos, letters, and family history I never expected to find. Martina is a warm, thoughtful host, and I will always be grateful for the experience she helped create.

Great place, very atmospheric and well equipped (kitchen, sauna, grill). The house itself is beautifull and the yard and the garden are highlights. Pulkau is a very nice place to walk around the rwineyards, with beautiful nature and great wines. It's absolutely marvelous place!

    Obermixnitz is a small farming community.

    Obermixnitz is a small farming community. We saw a Church, but no other facilities. Everyone was friendly. It was right out in the countryside, but near enough to drive to Retz, Thayatal, Riegersburg. We saw more tractors out on the fields in one day, than in our whole lifetime!
