This hotel is incredible. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast, lunch/snack, and dinner included in the room price was exceptional. The location and views are stunning - one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed in. Room was large and comfortable, very clean, great beds/pillows. An absolute treat from start to finish.

The Alpenschlossl is an exceptional hotel, the quality is evident. The hotel owners and staff are so kind and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The restaurant is exceptional and coupled with great facilities and super close proximity to the Alpendorf lift station, it genuinely deserves full marks. I've been skiing in Austria for many years but I have every intention of returning to the Alpenschlossl.

The staff was very friendly and always with a good attitude. They helped us to check in and settle quite fast and provided all information and support. They were very attentive to our needs. The view is another best thing there: both from the rooms and from the dinning area. SPA area is made in the way that there would be enough privacy for all the guests.

We visited hotel in the summer season. Hotel is located on the hiking trails, which is very convenient. Hotel is surounded by beautiful nature and animals in the direct area just enhanced the alpine atmosphere. We fell in love with the view immediately and asked for possibility to change the room with the view into the valley. Ladies working there were so kind and with a smile on their face tried their best and found one room for us. Ladies working at the restaurant were always super kind, we felt so welcomed ☺️ Breakfasts were my favourite, various kinds of yoghurts, amazing fruit salad, cereals, but also eggs, meat, cheese, fresh breads and rolls everyday, everything one can wish for. I recommed this accomodation ☺️

    Sankt Johann is a clean and beautiful town with gorgeous views of the mountains. Walked to visit the town center for breakfast at Bäckerei-Cafe-Konditorei Bauer. We visited Liechtensteinklamm just before they closed. It was the best time to visit the gorge.

    This is a typical town in Austrian Alps - lots of ski schools, restaurants and everything a tourist needs. Important note - if you plan to be active and hike a lot or visit sightseeings, obtain discount card Salzburgerlandcard. Even it costs 99 euros for a week, it is worth it. This destination has not only lots of cablecars, but also museums, castles, aquaparks etc and this discount card helps with paying and with queues

    It was rainy and GPS took us through narrow roads as an event was going on. When we get to where to stay, had no clue where to check in, finally got checked and to our room. Photos on line look better than where we stayed. Wouldn’t go back

    We are from Colorado so it was similar to Breckenridge or other small mountain towns. There are plenty of hills in town so it was a great "walking exercise experience." There are plenty of grocery stores and cheaper than the US. The situation of the town is beautiful!

    Great location for those who want to travel in the province...

    Great location for those who want to travel in the province of Salzburg. We went for a walk on Ghost Mountain (the cable car a few hundred meters from the hotel). We took a trip to the Lichtenstein Gorge - this place is a MUST! Its five-minute drive - during busy times in the summer, it's convenient because you can start the day there when it's not too busy and hot yet. The trip to other attractions and sites is also short and the hotel itself is very close to the highway for those who want to reach sites such as the salt mines in Hallein, Hohenwerfen Castle, Salzburg and more. The town of St. Johann im Pongau has many shops and the area has some good restaurants with local food.

    The city has all what a tourist needs.

    The city has all what a tourist needs. One may say typical Apline city, but has it's nice unique spots - for me: the old bridge neighbourhood (I'd say the old town). As it is located on a slope for me it's more pictureous than others located just in a valley.

    Great stay in Sankt Johann im Pongau. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Very clean and spacious rooms. The breakfast is delicious. There is a storage room for ski boots and skis which is great. Just a short (steep!) walk from the town center where there are plenty of restaurants, shops, bars,... We will come back again to enjoy Austria in Winter and Summer.

    First of all, I am very thankful that I chose Hotel Lerch for your ski holiday. The position of the hotel is no doubt great. It takes just a few minutes to get to Skibus Station. The journey to Alpendorf takes up to ten minutes.  The meal was incredible. I have no complaints about service.

    We went there after Christmas for ski holiday, hotel was very nice, clean, room were good size. Easy access to ski storage. Stuff / owner very friendly and helpful. Delicious dinner with soup and desert ( choice from 2 ) highly recommend it !! The best view in town 😀

    The hotel is locates in a ski resort, so for the summer holidays it’s not the perfect ambiance. The room was okay; it has everything you need, Wifi was working fine and a there was a balcony. Breakfast was good, with enough to choose from.
