Perfectly placed motel at the beginning of Waidhofen-Slavonice bike/in-line trail. Amazing breakfest and really really really nice staff. We plane to be back at last next summer!

The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful whenever we had a query. The rooms were all very large, clean and comfortable. There was a nice relaxed feel to the hotel in a great location. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We booked the hotel on very short notice and everything was ready by the time we reached it! The room was very clean and warm and the beds were comfortable. We also had a very nice view over the river running through the town.

The hotel was a very pleasant surprise for us. We liked its location in the green valley of the Thaya (Dyje) river. We could enjoy the view of the river and listen to the sound of water on the stones. We slept well with this sound. Thanks to the nets, we could have our window open. The bed was comfortable. The hotel has a relatively large plot of land. We had a great time relaxing in the wellness area of ​​the hotel. The pool is not big, but it felt luxurious thanks to the color, water jets, waterfall and lights. You can use the sunbeds and swings around the pool. The restaurant offered us a tasty dinner in the courtyard of the hotel, willingly adapting the food for people with allergies. Breakfast was served on the sunny terrace on the other side. We all found what we wanted for breakfast. The staff was helpful and nice. We will definitely return to this hotel when we are in the area.

    We stayed in Waidhofen an der Thaya while completing the Thaya Tal cycle path over three days. The whole circular cycle path, partially into the Czech Republic is a lovely route, mostly on dedicated bike paths or quiet country roads. Beautiful scenery. E-bikes would be recommended unless you are serious bikers. In Waidhofen we had a fabulous dinner at Gasthaus Lorbaer, just down the road from Konditerei Mussauer.

    I travel a lot due to my work and I stayed in a lot of hotels and motels. This one was so unexpectedly nice and cozy (unexpectedly because you don’t expect much from motel). Not so big but decent breakfast. New clean rooms. 24/7 access to free tea and coffee.
