    The room was clean and the bathroom refurbished.

    The room was clean and the bathroom refurbished. Otherwise the room was VERY disappointing. It was VERY small with nowhere to sit but on the beds, no chairs to sit in to eat a meal. No facilities except a kettle to make a cuppa. Road noise from highway was very bad and the aircon (to cut out the noise) was just as bad as it was very old and clunked in and out all night. Very poor value for money. We booked one room for two people, but were told on arrival that we had booked three beds that was why it cost $117.

    Aratula is quite scenic but not a nice place to stay, as it is on a busy highway, with loud traffic noise all night long. The only eateries available are two roadhouses, with typical roadhouse food. I would never stay there again.
