IrelandThis was a fantastic base for a few days. The facilities were excellent. The toilets and shower areas were spotlessly clean. It was a little chilly however! The team here are wonderful and we're so friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the young man from Ireland at reception. He was so kind, friendly and accommodating. He provided me with a hairdryer from the reception desk. Tip - Free laundry facilties are available which was very welcome as (understandably) everything gets covered in red sand after hiking! Wasing powder packs are available at reception for 3.50. The Outback Kiosk serves great salads daily if you are looking for a healthy snack. Breakfast is tasty at the Brough Restaurant. You can also have breakfast at any of the other hotel restaurant. No booking is needed and you can pay on arrival. The Desert Gardens offers a sensational breakfast.

Uluru and the Red Centre have to be seen to be believed. Yulara resort is extremely well set up to help visitors make the most of their time. It is a unique and special location ..and a truly beautiful one. It was our first experience of the red centre and I was struck by the beauty of the landscape particularly in the soft light of dawn and sunset and the stillness …and a big night sky I hadn’t ever experienced before. Great place to experience, to see Uluru and walk around it and learn about its importance to the traditional owners. Went out to the Olga’s and saw the sunrise over Uluru, it was spectacular. We had perfect weather had just rained so left us with some lovely green scenery. Weather was perfect. A little hassle with flies so need a net for face. Ayers Rock was a bucket list destination.
Ayers Rock was a bucket list destination. I have now scratched that itch. It was OK but don't feel the need to ever return. Sadly it rained the two days we were there - (most unusual), which kept the flies at bay but didn't really allow us to make the most of our time there. It is beautiful and I think has to be done if you are able, but two days is more than enough unless you are able to get out there and do some walkingGuest review byNettledUnited Kingdom

Lots of space to put things. Great swimming pool which was never crowded and shaded sun loungers. Also liked that local.kids were allowed a short swim in the pool. . Middle of the resort so handy for eating places, booking trips and pick up for coach into the national park was 3 minutes walk.
