Didn't stay long enough, just stopped for one night. Had dinner at RSL in the cafe which was good, but later found out they had specials which staff didn't mention the locals told us after. Many tourist trao andI was scam 3 times for 4 nights and 5 days stay in Ballina. HARD to book Uber. Book 46 minutes ahead tine. For short distance ride use Taxi. NO DiDi available. Be weary to talk tobstrangers, particular LONG term guest of Caravan Park. Do NOT talk to Aborigines @ bus STOP who will scam tourists or visitors. Ballina is a large town with a holiday feel and beaches very close by. The Main Street contains many cafes and restaurants and can be busy with traffic. The rooms are sensational with little features added to them. Andre and the team are great with attention to detail. Whenever I needed something either Andre or Sebastian were so quick to help. Wifi worked well. It’s close walk to the river and the ideal location. I was here for both work and holiday and it worked a treat for me.
