There are some great cafes and restaurants.

There are some great cafes and restaurants. Would very much recommend Troopers Rest where the vibe and staff are great with a gin distillery and good food. And local wines. They had two log fires going. Provisions has great crepes and very reasonably priced Shop Len Mutton has all sorts to buy. There is a fully stocked quilt shop too. I would say you need a full day to explore Braidwood. Oh and not to forget Dojo known for their variety of bread. Had the olive bread, the best i have ever tasted.

Braidwood is a quaint historic town, a real gem. Loved the vibe of the town. Spent the weekend, walking around the town, exploring the unique pieces available in the stores, meeting the locals and tasting the yummy food. The pubs and cafes are great, offering great food in a cosy environment, with fireplaces and country style decor. Had a great weekend, can’t wait to come back and explore more of this beautiful town.

Beautifully renovated and the best shower heads of any hotel I’ve stayed at. Comfy beds, pillows could use some extra fluff. Tad expensive but perfect option when travelling through on longer trips. The Albion cafe for a great lunch Provisions for a delicious French crepe breakfast Smokey horse for a fantastic Nepalese dinner with a awesome vibe.

Braidwood is a divine Australian historic town and really worth visiting. The Provisions Deli and Creperie was an excellent choice for brunch as the coffee was fantastic and the crepes had beautiful toppings both savoury and sweet. Plus the staff were so helpful and on the ball.

Braidwood is a nice little country village. We were there for a wedding at mona Farm which is really beautiful. The town has some lovely antique shops and lots of great cafes. Beautiful historic buildings. I wish we had more time to visit the 'pink pub' it looked interesting but we met friends at the Braidwood hotel. And we ate with friends so didn't have dinner anywhere.

Cedar Lodge remotely controlled with no response from contact numbers called after experiencing issues. Very disappointing experience from an accommodation facility which was no value for money. Braidwood deserves better. It is a good country town with charm. I have known it for years and visited often but stayed over only once.
