Pretty place well located to our visiting destinations.

Pretty place well located to our visiting destinations. Not much open after 2pm & some places fully closed on Monday & Tuesday. Staff in the places where we dined (George Hotel) were exceptional in regards to service ideal. Staff at the Royal Hotel were very helpful. We shall return to this township.

Pleasant small town in rural NSW with Canberra a short drive away. The Woodworks Cafe in the centre served a range of meals. Lovely children’s playground and great parkrun on Bungendore Common. Large IGA.

Had the Cobb and Co room - plenty of space for a couple. Having toaster and microwave made preparing breakfast very easy! The small table and chairs were great for meals, although the chairs were rather heavy to move. Location wise was very quiet, with a nice outlook. The shower facilities were excellent . . . have not seen anything like all the water options in a hotel/motel before! Will definitely come back!!

Small village close to Canberra, has several interesting shops, and superb French restaurant. Also a well known Woodwork Gallery, that hosts exhibitions of artists work. The cafe attached serves great coffee and interesting food

Bungendore is a quaint little country village where the shops have kept their old charm but the service is excellent A great place to spend a night or two between the South Coast and Canberra You can enjoy a walk around the village and browse in the various crafty shops The George Hotel is a good place to have dinner and The Gathering serves a fabulous breakfast Bit disappointing that there is no where to dine on a Monday or Tuesday night. We drove into Queanbeyan, about 20 minutes, and ate at the Tourist Hotel which was excellent value
