This place is miles ahead of the other nearby hostels in terms of facilities, cleanliness and customer service. It's just a 5min walk from the main street, secluded enough to get some peace and hear the nature, surrounded by picturesque hills 🌲 Stayed for 2 weeks and always had great quality sleep in the rooms. Firm mattresses and thick pillows, which is a rare find in a hostel! Rooms, bathrooms and common areas are always spotless, with staff working round the clock to ensure this. The fully air-conditioned lobby has a huge social space with a bar, TV, beanbags, ping pong. Perfect place to chill out and meet people. Love the nightly events held by the hostel (beer pong, trivia, movie nights, pizza, cheese and wine) its really a great way to meet like minded travellers. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff here, they're all extremely hospitable and make the vibe here what it is. :) For only being open for 3 months, this hostel is doing everything right. Can't wait to return as they plan to open a swimming pool!

Everything was perfect. The place is such a gem itself in a quiet área just 15 min drive to Airlie Beach. The staff is super friendly and everything was very clean. Breakfast was very nice and include a variety or fruits and pastries. Would recomnend it 100%

It's 10 min from Airlie beach, in a very quiet place, with nature all around. We took breakfast with a cute wallaby outside the cabin. Everything was very clean, very confortable. The kitchen has everything we needed. We wish we could stay one more night there, but unfortunately we had to take the road back home.

    Very nicely situated away from the hustle and bustle of Airlie Beach but not too far away. A short walk to Northies restaurant and bar was exceptional, we were able to give our room number so as not having to pay straight away for food and drinks.

    We liked the extreme views and space.

    We liked the extreme views and space. Freedom Shores and Northerlies were our highlights at Cannonvale. Also the Cannonvale Shopping Centre with Mandy’s Cafe being a favourite of ours. Because we had our car, it was easier to travel to places in the area like Cedar Falls and Peter Faust Dam.
