Cohuna is a pretty uninteresting town and one wonders why it is even there. If I had not been travelling for business and needed to see a local company the next morning I would have pushed on to Swan Hill.
Mind you, I had a lovely beef schnitzel and gravy at a local hotel (the kitchen in the main hotel is closed)

Cohuna is the loveliest town.
Cohuna is the loveliest town. Right on the water and a perfect base for local sightseeing and nature walks. Friendly locals, good pub food, rich birdlife, interesting historical society & museum, heaps of sunshine, clean air--what's not to love?

What a lovely little town for a quick getaway.
What a lovely little town for a quick getaway. Nice walking tracks on the creek. The Waffle cafe was absolutely yummy. We were lucky enough to be there for the charming little farmer's market on Sunday. The IGA is well stocked too.
