The rooms were very large very clean very comfortable well equipped wine glasses, glasses, cutlery and even biscuits to eat. The staff were very helpful accommodating and extremely friendly.

The staff are always a delight when I go and stay in my home town of cowra I don't look for any other accommodation when I go back as the location is perfect Close to everything rooms are clean and serviced and room service for tea was excellent I would highly recommend the cowra services club motel for your next stay in cowra

    We loved the friendliness of the locals who were very eager...

    We loved the friendliness of the locals who were very eager to help. We visited the Japanese Gardens which were beautiful and tranquil. Played golf at the Cowra Golf Course which was reasonably priced, visited a number of coffee shops all recommended by the locals and had a meal at The Railway Hotel off their specials night which lucky for us was Thursday $20 steak night. Cowra is worth a visit.

    The Japanese garden is beautiful in any season.

    The Japanese garden is beautiful in any season. We visited in winter, and I was a bit worried it wouldn't be as nice. However, the garden is planned with seasons in mind, so it is lovely all year round. The POW camp memorial site is worth a visit to explore and acknowledge Australia's wartime history. We also drove to Iandra Castle - a 1800s manor house and estate - about 40 min out of Cowra. It has open days on some long weekends, and is worth a visit if you can. It is necessary to have a car to get around, but the area is beautifully rural.

    We visited Cowra for the purpose of the Iandra Castle open day. The castle was brilliant and we also visited the Heritage Railway museumas well as Bellevue Hill Reserve and Lookout. We have been to Cowra before so we did not go to the Japanese Gardens. The Cowra Club had a great meal. The motel we stayed in was fantastic Country Gardens Motor Inn. The room was spacious, extremely clean and Mark was a brilliant host.

    Enjoyed our stay.

    Enjoyed our stay. We visited the gallery, the Japanese gardens (peaceful), the POW camp (interesting and well explained). Had hoped to visit some wineries but not many were open during the week. Had good meals at the Imperial hotel and the Oak on Kendal. Recommend the hologram presentation at the tourist bureau.

    We visited Cowra for the weekend to see the Japanese Garden,...

    We visited Cowra for the weekend to see the Japanese Garden, WW2 POW and Japanese Cemetary to learn more about the tragic histroy of the breakout of WW2 Japanese soldiers and reconciliation of the Australia and Japan. It was very impressive how these places were taken care, that I could see the respectful humanity and care from the local Australian community to support today's friendship between 2 countries.

    Lovely country town with excellent Japanese Garden that is a must visit in autumn & spring. Nearby town of Carcoar is highly recommended. Take some backroads, no traffic & lovely views of the countryside .

    So clean Great location for dining/ restuarants/ shopping in main street. I met the lovliest lady Kim who is in charge of Motel presentation....should be proud of her beautiful work. I was running late for my arrival & the owner called & checked i was ok as i was driving 11 hrs from Taree Overall just perfect for me, i will always stay here when coming to Cowra.

    The owner operator is a lovely bloke. Very friendly and accomodating. He has had a career in five star business hotels, and brings the same attention to detail and quality to his own country motor inn. Friendly, clean, large rooms and modern quality facilities.

    Room is large enough. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom really good. Didn't need to use shower. Looked very good and had a bar to hold to support you if needed. Can't understand why this isn't standard in all hotels.
