As family lived in Cranbourne, we were there for the son's...
As family lived in Cranbourne, we were there for the son's milestone birthday so seeing the city sights was not on the agenda. However, we did spend time in the city itself. The graffiti was out of control and in most cases offensive. Driving was a mad max experience with no tolerance for us who are not used to that volume of traffic. In summary it appeared dirty and tired that could do with a refresh and a cleanup, just sweeping the streets and footpaths can make it look so much better and remove the graffiti. Cranbourne is a good place for shopping and has some good cafes and restaurants with different cuisines, and the cost of meals is very reasonable, especially for families. It also has a race course and regular race meetings. It has a good bus service, and the buses go to a lot of different destinations.Guest review byAnitaAustralia

The staff were friendly, the restaurant and cafe and bar were welcoming, and I felt very safe being there on my own. The room service and amenities were exceptional. The bottle of water daily, the continental breakfast included, and the housekeeping services were remarkable. I did not have to ask for anything. There were plenty of towels and hand creams, shampoos and tea bags. The shortbread biscuits were very nice, and I felt it was a home away from home.
