We had awesome time at Daintree Manor. We stayed three nights and it was not enough, we wish we stayed 5. We loved the actual Manor, built from beautiful timber with stunning timber floors throughout, our luxury room had beautiful furniture and a gorgeous panel on the wall. The bed was super comfy with nice linen. The house is off the grid relying on solar power and rain water but all the comforts are provided to have a great rest and enjoy the tranquility of the surrounding stunning gardens inhabited by birds, butterflies and wildlife. The gardens and the views from the balcony are breathtaking and you always see different birds, butterflies and dragonflies depending on the time of the day. Our hosts Charmaine and Robbie are super hosts, ensuring you are treated like gold and well looked after. They serve a healthy cooked breakfast every morning which is served on the balcony with best views to the rainforest and gardens. Freshly brewed Lavazza coffee and 15 different teas are available at all times. They bring boiled water from their stove. Everything we experienced at the Daintree Manor is ecologically friendly. Most enjoyable of all was the company of our hosts who have lived there for a long time and both are very knowledgeable of the rainforest, the wildlife and how to behave if you encounter it. They made our stay unforgettable and we are so grateful for the shared knowledge and experiences. Denise was wonderful and very helpful. The cabin was lovely and absolutely clean. The owner was very friendly as well. The creek was so beautiful and it was fun to walk in it and swim in it. An absolute pleasure to stay at the Heritage Lodge.

A beautifully furnished bungalow, looking into a lovely garden fringed with rainforest and with a glimpse of the sea at beautiful Thornton Beach.. Big blue Ulysses butterflies fluttered amongst the flowers, a cassowary visited at breakfast time. A wonderful bathroom! Friendly owners with great tips for our Daintree sojourn; they even organised wildlife activities.

Amazing location and a very friendly host. You are immersed in the rainforest; We spotted cassowary and his chick in the early morning. They are frequent visitors there as there are quite some plumtrees in the garden. The room is very clean and no bugs inside :)
