Follow up to the "Failed in duty of care" review posted...
Follow up to the "Failed in duty of care" review posted 16.06.2025, which was replied to by management same day. There has been ZERO follow up with me in regards to this situation. This is disturbing, that a guest would have to endure such a distressing situation, and there is no follow up, not even an email, or phone call to discuss, especially when I officially complained and requested a review investigation with management, primarily to ensure that this would not happen again to any other guest and that staff would be upskilled and given more training appropriately. Is this because nobody cares enough to understand the gravity of this situation? Or is it because nobody has the courage to address such a difficult situation? Or is it because it has not been managed and prioritised? Whatever the reasons, I would have thought that this would be handled much better. From here, if I am not contacted, I will take this further until I get a satisfactory response, which is not "no response".Guest review byLyndaSweden - 8.0
The room was great.
The room was great. Close to Westfield Shopping Centre Doncaster. Doncaster Hotel just a short walk across the car park. Easy to get to off Victoria Street or Doncaster Road. Just a short trip to get to East Link Freeway. Value for money. Would stay again!!Guest review byJanetAustralia - 10.0

Our family is in Doncaster hence our stay here. There are endless restaurants to try and we ate at Wealth Kitchen which was amazing. Also had lunch at the nearby Doncaster Hotel. The large shopping centre is just down the road. Very quick to get onto the freeway.Guest review byRhonda - 10.0

At the hotel where we stayed, the Mecure, The reception staff was excellent, most welcoming and assisted in all our needs, including arranging for us to have a shower in the evening before our long flight home, even though we had checked out earlier in the day. While it is very close to the nearby hotel, there is no noise whatsoever from the pub. It is a very short walk to the pub for dinner or lunch. We stayed in a studio which was quite adequate for 1 night. Spotlessly clean and an very comfortable bed. The receptionist showed us to our room and the heating was already turned on making the room very welcoming. This was our second stay and it certainly won't be our last. The ridiculousness of this was you could choose any items from the menu and have it delivered to your room and just pay for the one item.
