Great customer service staff was very friendly & helpful room was clean, bed was comfortable & thanks for the extra blanket thanks for the complimentary water bottles (not many other hotels do that) it’s close to the shops, restaurants, cafe & bar

    Loved the wide streets & centre parking. Terrific tavern - the Mayfair, near the airport on Springsure road! Helpful staff @ tourist info centre. Visited Fairbairn Dam - interesting! Great brunch @ "Blah-Blah" cafe.

    Lovely oasis in the Central Highlands that has everything...

    Lovely oasis in the Central Highlands that has everything you need and the Botanical Gardens are a must-see. Also take a peak at the painting of the giant sunflower in Emerald.Lake Maraboon is nearby and we’ll worth a visit as are the gem field towns like Ruby and Sapphire. An hour’s drive away is the lovely town of Clermont where there is a wonderful museum that documents the history of the region. Great place to visit.

    The traffic in Emerald is soooo much better than the capital...

    The traffic in Emerald is soooo much better than the capital cities particularly Sydney. The only problem was the opening hours if the Suncorp Bank - 9.30am to 2pm Monday to Friday. I would love to work those hours. lol. Then they were not that helpful when I managed to catch them open. Hint- it’s a country town, don’t expect the world because they won’t have it. Prices are also elevated because they think everyone works in the surrounding mines. Lots of international people working there which can sometimes be difficult to make yourself understood. Not a bad place though.

    We were surprised with the town, its growth and how clean and pretty it looked. The Motel 707 was a wonderful choice for our overnight stay and offered more than expected, all the staff, reception and kitchen were very on point with their professionalism and friendliness.

    I had help from Wendy when I told her I intended to try and find my grandmother's grave at Emerald cemetery, and she was genuinely happy I was successful. Emerald is a friendly town with a warm welcome.

    Looked a lovely place, didnt do sight seeing, only saw the airport and Avalon nursing home, and my accommodation. Had a great tasty breakfast at a restaurant/cafe on the corner of highway in main street Nusing home staff are helpful and friendly. Taxi service is great, friendly and helpful, i used them 5 times in my short stay. Patchwork shop has a great range of fabrics etc and friendly staff. I enjoyed my short stay.

    We selected that motel based on the pool area available. It was private and well landscaped, and provided a lovely oasis from the hot weather. We had a 2 night stay, and the cleaning staff turned over the room during the day after our first night - they refreshed towels and complimentary bottles of water (which was greatly appreciated)! Fewer hotels do this now, so this certainly was a plus.

    We had such a fantastic experience while staying at the Emerald Inn. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do enough to accommodate us. The facilities were clean and tidy, well kept and spacious. We had plenty of room for us and our two children and had no issues allowing them to play and explore our room as it was safe and clean.

    This property was perfect for our brief stay in Emerald - clean, comfortable and well-equipped. I contacted the host a couple of times with some questions during our stay and he was always exceptionally polite and helpful. I highly recommend this property to other travellers.

    Probably our best overnight stay on two week road trip. Good quality bedding and linen. Kitchenette well decked out. Slightly off main roads so quiet. 2 min walk from pioneer village and giant easel. 5 min to hotel for dinner.
