Friendly staff. Holley at Reception was very welcoming. Although Check-in was at 3pm, as we had informed we would be arriving at ard 11am, Holley got a room ready for us to check-in early and enjoy the resort facilities. Welcome drink was tasty and my kid enjoyed the welcoming experience. Pool and salt water lagoon was the highlight of the stay. Excellent spread for buffet breakfast. Definitely recommend staying here again.

Surfers Paradise has changed a lot since I was there 20 years ago. There is a better variety of cuisine and things to do. The light rail is absolutely fantastic and makes getting around so easy. Once the next stage is finished in 2026, it will make getting around the Gold Coast amazingly simple, you wont need a car when you are there. I had a great time, the shopping at Pacific Fair rivaled Melbourne (can you believe it!!?), the beaches were gorgeous and the food offerings were varied and delicious.

Found many of the small eateries in Surfers, wanting.

Found many of the small eateries in Surfers, wanting. Such as an Italian themed restaurant without coffee. A Vietnamese restaurant with food that was very mediocre and others that didn’t seem to know what customer service is. I can’t say this is true of the upmarket venues, but those referred to above were not the worst options. Driving is a nightmare due to tramway construction and narrow roads. Progress has not been kind to the Gold Coast I used to know.

The units and high apartment buildings are a bit tired.

The units and high apartment buildings are a bit tired. If driving, when planning your journey be familiar with toll roads. Get out of the commercialism of the gold coast - we preferred Noosa to Gold Coast. There was more of a sense of fun there. We loved driving into the beautiful countryside - there are many cute country town within a couple of hours of the Gold Coast. We loved Brisbane and had a few days investigating the city and found lots of nice places to eat and drink.

The public transport system and cost is just amazing. It made all the difference to our family holiday and the kids enjoyed it. Gold Coast is just beautiful. Theme Parks so easily accessible and the unlimited tickets are value for money. Sea World and Dreamworld our two most favorite. So many delicious food places.

We had a wonderful stay at these apartments on the Gold Coast! The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect—close to everything but still quiet and peaceful. The pool and facilities perfect. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and family and will definitely return! We were running a little later than we hoped to check in and Mark had messaged us via phone to keep in contact. Late check in was great, we really appreciated the communication from Mark.

We had a quick visit to the Gold Coast to go to a birthday party so stayed at Pacific Coast Motel. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower water was hot. There was no road noise either so had a peaceful sleep. Had a bigger than normal motel fridge which fitted wine bottles and even fitted bottles in the freezer for a quick cool down. A great super cheap place to stay.
