Great town to stop over night in.

Great town to stop over night in. The Silo Art, antique shops and friendly locals made it a fabulous getaway. Best coffee from Spannerman Cafe. Best breakfast from Grenfell Local Fuels & Cafe (trust me, it's brilliant and the price is extremely cheap. Great meals for either lunch or dinner from The Criterion. Lovely courtyard out the back. Short drive to other local towns and attractions.

A small quiet town within reach of the Weddin Hills and interesting landscape and historic sites. Very quiet roads which make travelling easy. Some lovely old heritage buildings in the town and the painted silos are a must see as they are quite spectacular.

We had been to Grenfell before but didn't have time to look at the sights in Grenfell. We said we would return and we did. I loved the old historic buildings and the monuments to Henry Lawson. The site Henry Lawson was born at is a magnificent tribute to his life. And for those who love silos with murals on them it is a must to visit.

It's a nice town with lots of history and gorgeous old heritage buildings in the area, plenty of places for photo taking, silo art, lovely old railway station where travellers can camp/caravan for a few days to get to know the town. There is a caravan park with all you need too. Pubs and architecture in the area were my favourite. There was a night food market as well when we were there too.
