Unfortunately Halls Creek is suffering from lack of inspiration! Information Centre not open so no information of the area, it is run down and needs a good lot of help from the WA govt to encourage tourism ... There is a lot to see and the history is amazing. Roads are very poor to the sights people wish to see and explore. Indigenous population friendly and I'm sure with a little encouragement & support many would be able to find employment without the constant "put down" there seems to be!Guest review byJanAustralia

I was originally booked in budget accomodation which was a finger in a ‘men’s camp’. It tweaked of alcohol and cigarettes and the room only had space for a bed.
