    I loved the swims in the ocean and pool, the beautiful gardens and the view of the ocean and islands. The myriad of blue colours of the ocean were stunning! The islanders were friendly! As my partner and I are elderly, we found it very easy to get around the island!

    Hamilton Island is a family resort, and you instantly relax getting off the plane. Transport is a golf cart which is fun in itself. Loads of pools to cover no water at the beach on low tide. Great selection of restaurants but book early. Lots of excursions off the island which are pricey. Scenery is unique and stunning. cockatoos are friendly and wallabies all over the place are cute. Love it here, second trip this year and I will be back. It is great for 3-4 day break, very accessible from sydney on direct 2 hour flight. Love it here

    The island was easy to get around but is expensive to hire a buggy if one isn't supplied. Because it's an island everything has to be transported from the mainland which means everything is more expensive. The lack of cars / motorbikes means it's super quiet. It didn't have the upmarket feel I was expecting considering the price. Overall the facilities are great with lots of pools plus a great beach. The one supermarket was always busy plus the bottle shop was expensive.

    Great island with beautiful blue water, very good food, the IGA was excellent. Whitehaven Beach and the Outer Reef are nearby. Nice being in the tropics but with very good facilities and restaurants. Ate at Mantaray, the Bakery and Romano's. Friendly staff, all good.

    The island is beautiful.

    The island is beautiful. Great walks, a good supermarket and some good restaurants. We went and played golf on the neighbouring island which was just incredible. It has a lovely vibe on the island, no cars.

    The island is privately owned and run as a resort.

    The island is privately owned and run as a resort. It’s beautiful, well kept and well run. Everything that you will need is close together around the marina - supermarket, bottle shop, restaurants, bakery, snorkel trips. Many properties offer complimentary golf buddies which are great fun to drive. It has a luxurious but laid back feel. It’s honestly one of the best places I have stayed in.

    This hotel could just be so much better. The rooms are tired, the breakfast and food was very costly considering how mediocre it was (especially the buffet - much better to grab a coffee and fruit bowl at the harbour if you are not a big eater). It's likely less expensive than other options but if I ever go back to Hamilton Island I will rent a residence rather than stay at this hotel.

    Luxury accommodation in a great location. The views are spectacular. We saw whales from the balcony two days running. Having a buggy included made it easy to access the beach, pools, supermarket and restaurants when we wanted to and then enjoy the tranquility of our apartment. We had 7 adults and two children in our group and there was plenty of space. Highly recommend.

    Good location, great views, the free buggy came in handy. The apartment was very generous in size, nicely presented, kitchen was well stocked and overall, clean. Hosts were very responsive during booking process and with additional questions we had. Hamilton island is beautiful, loved the variety of restaurants.

    We stayed at Frangipani Apartments on Hamilton Island for 5 nights recently. The location and views from the apartments are sensational. There were two large comfortable bedrooms and a well appointed kitchen. The room comes with a buggy which is fun and handy
