Great stay for our family of four. Well-presented, clean and spacious unit. We had everything we need. The boys had some fun-time at the pool. It was a bonus to be such a short walk to Red Bluff Beach for a relaxing sunset. We wish we have stayed longer. This will definitely be our go-to accommodation when we return to Kalbarri. Even the ensuite/powered sites look accommodating. We would also consider if we opt to do camping. Close enough yet a good distance from the town proper. We’ve already highly recommended this place to friends!

The breakfast at the pelican cafe was good, We were disappointed with Buddha Bites, and Little Leaf was hit and miss. The corn ribs and the edamame was brilliant, the quesadillas resembled over fried tacos or simply missed the mark. Kalbarri by itself was beautiful and your house was lovely it kept us cool.

I stayed at Kalbarri Backpackers for 3 days with my friends, and we absolutely loved it! The place was clean, relaxed, and had such a welcoming vibe. The rooms were comfortable and tidy, and the kitchen and BBQ facilities were perfect for enjoying our meals and meeting other travellers. The staff were super kind and helpful, giving us great tips on where to go and what to see in Kalbarri. The location was ideal too – close to the beach, shops, and everything in town. If you're travelling with friends and looking for a fun, budget-friendly place to stay in Kalbarri, this is the one. We’d definitely come back again!

There was a large range of activities: visiting the national park for the skywalk, Nature's Window and the Z bend, viewing the wildflowers, particularly in the national park, the cliff walks, paddling and swimming at the beaches, activities at the estuary-boats and canoes to hire, the cruises, patronising the cafes and restaurants.... The only hindrance was the wind which tended to pick up from the midmorning, but this is to be expected in October.

Breathtaking views both along the coastal look outs and inland in the National Park. Magnificent place! Weather was pleasant in October to explore nature (very windy when we were there max. of 25 degrees - not warm enough for a swim, otherwise perfect to explore even inland up to midday).

We will be back!!!

We will be back!!! Fantastic vacation with our kids, TONS to do for any type of vacation from family to couple to single personb and good have a different vacation each time. Hiking was so much fun and the whale watching tour was phenomenal! So many gorgeous photoshoot locations. Nature's window, Red bluff look out and hike down to beach, hire your own boats, loads of cafes, great pizza!

we was happy with the wildflower tour and the river cruise and the sunset cruise recommend these to anyone fish and chips from the jetty seafood shack and the Golden Wok. very easy to get around and see all the sights I also did the parkrun which was great . did a lot of walking around the sights

Be prepared to do more driving after your long drive up from Perth, it is worth it. The views are stunning and walk past natures window provides stunning views. The beach is great for dipping your feet and swimming. Great fishing spots all around for fishos of all levels of experience. IGA covers food needs and multiple restaurants. Many trails leading to great bluffs like red bluff. It's a long drive, but worth it for unique and stunning scenery that will stay with you forever.

Kalbarri is just beautiful.

Kalbarri is just beautiful. It was our first time and we didn't want to leave. We are definitely coming back. Small coastal town, not too busy. The National park is amazing, such variety of landscapes like red cliffs, wildflowers, shallow beaches, ocean and river. So many things to do like kayaking, snorkeling, swimming, hiking, fishing. Perfect spot for holidays with children.

Very well located in the center of Kalbarri, close to many restaurant option (I had the chance to try the restaurant onsite, very good but BYO, and better to make a reservation). The staff is very helpful and send all eating options in town. There is a playground for kids, that is occupied by kangaroos in the evening and morning ;o). The room is spacious, the bathroom could use some renovation, but overall, clean and handy.

We have been coming to this complex for years - when it was Kalbarri beach resort. It’s a great place for families to stay, two playgrounds, incredible children’s pool and close walking to town and other great facilities. The unit is on the older side, but has everything you need and is practical for a family. The owner was very responsive and helpful over text and I would definitely stay again.

The location is beautiful. Nice quite resort with pool & bbq facilities. Exceptional value for money and spotless. Welcomed with a lovely lady on reception and was very helpful with our visit to kalbarri national park. We only stayed 1 night really wish we stayed longer as we loved our short visit. Will stay longer when we come over again from England.

We stayed in the beautifully decorated penthouse apartment which was very spacious and had a fantastic outdoor area with BBQ overlooking the pool. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and provided a lovely breakfast and also afternoon tea. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay in Kalbarri. Highly recommended.
