The township of Leigh Creek is neat and tidy with excellent facilities for travelers, with the Caravan Park being a stand-out. The town is always a welcome destination at the end of a long day on the road. The 'Sassy Emu" Cafe is excellent, the proprietors are a couple of great hosts! The Hotel provides good old solid pub food and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Aroona Dam is always a 'Must See" location when in the Leigh Creek area.
