Lovely place to just stop and relax, with smaller numbers than most resorts, no children and no motorized water sports, but it does need some TLC if it wants to keep its 4* rating. Getting there should be discounted if you are staying there vs visiting for the day. The day trippers tended to take over a bit so I think they should charge more for this. The restaurant serves lovely fresh food and the staff are very friendly and helpful, if somewhat transient. There are two resorts in the island.
There are two resorts in the island. Palm Bay is the lesser expensive one, Elysian the more up market. Getting there is very easy from Schute Harbour, only 30 minutes. There are a few good hikes on the island.Guest review byMargaret - 10.0

It's a beautiful remote island with nothing but a resort on there. Great to disconnect from the busy city life. There's nature activities to do such as bush walks, and if you're staying at the Palm Bay resort you can hire kayaks, snorkelling equipment and stinger suits for free.Guest review byKeshiaAustralia - 10.0

We stayed at Palm Bay which is very beautiful.
We stayed at Palm Bay which is very beautiful. Amazing sunsets! We did a couple of walks - no more than 2 hours each. There are other nice beaches around but we were happy to mostly stay at Palm Bay. There were whales offshore for two days when we were there which was very special. BYO some of your food if you are staying for a few days.Guest review byRobynAustralia

Even for those not wanting to leave Long Island, there are activities hikes, games, and snorkelling. The staff was extremely friendly and happy to assist with booking activities around the other islands.
