My husband and I would definitely love to stay at this beautiful getaway in mapleton again. Beautiful gardens surround the property, plenty of peace and quiet, and the pavilion had everything we needed for our weekend.

We really enjoyed the wonderful and quiet location. The rooms were very comfortable and very well equipped. Rachel that runs the place is a wonderful and caring person. She made everything possible and was very helpful in planning the trips in the area. We would come back any time! We could have stayed longer! It was a great surprise to see the that Rachel runs a wildlife or orphanage. We loved it very much to see the baby wallabies.

Our stay was amazing. From the moment we arrived the host was so friendly, welcoming and took the time to show us around. Our room was impressive, luxurious and beautifully appointed. The pool and sauna were a bonus and well used by us. The views from our balcony were spectacular and watching the sunset every night over the mountains was breathtaking. To be honest everything about this property is stunning and definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful Mountainous Oasis Warm reception from the wonderful owner, Renee. This is a hostess who has poured her heart into the property. We stumbled upon this gem after our camp site was flooded. From the minute we arrived, we knew this was a great decision. Renee welcomed us with opened arms, and the downstairs room was named after one of her sons and very clean and well equipped. The fridge was full of complimentary breakfast items, including plenty of milk for coffee, fresh fruit, biscuits, bread, and other condiments. The layout was spacious and private, and the views were stunning. We awoke to the beautiful sounds of nature and fresh mountainous air. The national park is literally a 5 min walk down the street. The tiny details that are often missed, such as extra toothpaste, adequate toilet paper, and extra coffee pods, were not missed here. Renee provided us with free coffee vouchers for a cafe down the road. Community spirit is right on point here. We soaked outside on the deck in the two outdoor bath tubs provided in complete bliss. Renee even provided us a lovely bottle of gris on our way out! Thank you, Renee. Your service and energy put into your wonderful business is absolutely gold. Highly recommend. Do yourself a favour and check this place out.

If you like peace and quiet - and kookaburras -it is a very special place to stay. The provided breakfast (to cook) was excellent as long as you like a cooked breakfast; some fresh fruit would be nice for those who do not.

    Mapleton is a small country town on the top of a ridgeline with that side having views over Mount Coolum and Marcoola to the ocean in the distance. There are numerous hikes/walks in the area including access to the Sunshine Coast Great Walk. If you visit I would highly recommend having a lunch at the Mapleton Hotel, it was an absolute surprise, the food and service was sensational. The more touristy town of Montville is a short drive away. The town also has several coffee shops, an IGA and service station.

    Mapleton is a quiet area close to natural beauty.

    Mapleton is a quiet area close to natural beauty. Not too far to travel for a light meal. Fish and chips great, meals at Mapleton Tavern. Coastal and country views. Good location for a base. Not too far to drive to Flaxton, Montville and onto Maleny.

    Mapleton is one of a string of small villages along the Blackall Range ridge with access to lots of rainforest walks, long and short, lakes, cafes, shops, galleries and restaurants. The Mapleton Tavern had good food and was open on a Monday night when many other venues were closed. Mapleton is much smaller and quieter than its neighbours Maleny and Montville and a nice alternative with less passing tourist traffic.

    Over several years both couples have visited Mapleton, Montville and Malaney and always included Eumundi Market on a Wednesday as part of each trip. Enough shopping for anyone, and for those with the O.B.E. (over bloody eighty) easily embraced, or ignored!

    The Mapleton Tavern does amazing meals and has beautiful views to sit and have a drink or dinner, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice place to just unwind, walk around the wetland park and lots of nature and birds to see. Short drive to some lovely craft shops and cafes. Great place to just relax and unwind.

    As you arrive to the beautiful property, you receive a very warm and personalised welcome from Willy. She has such a great attention to detail and the room and surrounds were presented immaculately. We particularly loved the outdoor chairs and lovely complimentary breakfast. The views are stunning and you really feel like you are the only ones around. Just a short drive into the town of Mapleton where there is a nice selection of restaurants. We will definitely be back!
