Marananga is close to wineries. having a car to get around...
Marananga is close to wineries. having a car to get around helps, as you can visit any winery you like, when it suits you. The Barossa is very easy to navigate. It is close to Tanunda, which has lots of shops and some very good restaurants, l918 and Ferment Asian, both well worth a visit. Lucy's house is a lovely historical cottage cental to all Marananga wineries. Modern bathroom with underfloor heating, exceptional breakfast including farm fresh eggs and Barossa bacon. Great location with Nelson the Labrador and several happy chooks making it feel like a relaxing farm stay. Steve is very friendly and an exceptional host. Staff so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Can not recommend enough. In house restaurant Appellation with great food and pairing wine added to the whole experience. Walking distance to great small businesses and wineries with open cellars.
