South of the Yarra River is St Kilda, home to the best beach and Albert Park, where the F1 Australian Grand Prix is held. However, this is not the city’s only sporting heritage. It’s also the home of Aussie Rules football and the MCG, a must-see for cricket fans.

So much to do.
So much to do. Not a beach city really but endless theatre, galleries and gardens. The thing that really makes Melbourne great is that its decentralised. There are lots of neighbourhoods with their own character and identity. Its easy to get around as long as you never go near Punt Rd. Did I mention the food. It was well presented and is a comfortable walk to Heidelberg Station (about 600m walk) with a 35 minute train trip into the CBD. The connection to the airport via Uber/taxi is about 35-40 minutes. Our host met us at the apartments and was very helpful in settling us in and showing us the layout of the apartments.
