We had 4 nights at our beautiful house.
We had 4 nights at our beautiful house. That allowed us to visit a number of rainforests, creeks and waterfalls which are in close proximity to Mission Beach. We prefer creeks and waterfalls to reef trips and their are so many to explore such as Murray Falls and Alligators Nest up near Tully, Lacey's Creek near town, Josephine Falls about an 1 or so draive away and South Mission and Bingil Bay. The bars and restaurants in the village are amazing and very friendly and if you want to make your own food - the Woolies at Wongaling Beach was way cheaper than our local Woolies in inner city Brisbane.Guest review byDeborahAustralia - 10.0
Parking was only issue.
Parking was only issue. We had to park on street as no spaces left. I was celebrant for a wedding at wongaling beach. Had meal at Mission beach resort prompt service but short on gluten-free choices as husband coeliac. Coffee spots limited we walked 12km to get coffee from wongaling beach to south mission beach. Mission Beach is having a huge upgrade in the CBD.
Mission Beach is having a huge upgrade in the CBD. Avoid here until it is completed if you want to avoid pedestrian access issues to shops, beach, etc. Underground drainage works throughout town are behind schedule, the shop owners are so patient.Guest review byBelinda - 8.0

Nicely positioned in front of the beach. Hotel is having a Refurbishment between September and December, which is needed. Room was large and spacious with a balcony. Mission Beach is a stunning, boutique town with stunning beaches and proximity to so much exploring. It has fabulous restaurants, cafes and a few little boutiques and galleries. Whilst there was some council work going on during our stay, we recognise there is never a good time to schedule this and it didn’t impact our use of local businesses or experience of the region.Guest review byTinaAustralia - 8.0

During our visit there were major road and pipeline works, making it difficult to walk down the Main Street. This impacted the overall experience as some shops/restaurants were closed (either temporarily or permanently) and these works have apparently taken 12 months already and are set to continue for another 6 months. The owners were welcoming and friendly. The entire site was one of peace, quiet and relaxation. We were upgraded to a villa - absolutely superb. Large, spacious, spotlessly clean, well equipped, large bathroom. And straight across the road from the beach. The park was perfectly situated in Wongaling, half way between Mission Beach and South Mission Beach. Just wish we could have stayed longer. However, we had to climb through scaffolding to get to our room as it surrounded the whole building. Wanted to have a bath but the bath tub was pealing off. Nice little room once you get over the whole ducking and weaving through the scaffolding, parking wasn't great. I definitely think it is overpriced for what it is.
