    Lovely walks through rainforest with some waterfalls.

    Lovely walks through rainforest with some waterfalls. Very trendy Arts and Crafts shops and a lovely heated outdoor swimming pool. Tamborine has really seen a lot of development in the last 60 years. It was easy to drive around with not much traffic and roads well signposted. Roadside stalls selling produce from the acreages. I would recommend the Glow Worm tour and Skywalk.

    Mt tamborine needs a face lift.

    Mt tamborine needs a face lift. Looking very tired on it now from what it looked like in the 70ies More like a forgotten place with lots of dilapidated buildings, with some junk stores in the tourist spots

    Provides a relaxing holiday with plenty to do. Genuine characters, great food & plenty of local treats/ owner run establishments with friendly staff. A wonderful holiday if you looking to get back to nature.

    Great outdoor experience although the township is a little...

    Great outdoor experience although the township is a little bit touristy. Amazing rainforests nestled around Mt Tamborine. Great place for walking and seeing native scenery. Easy to get around by car. A few basic restaurants around although most were closed on the 2 nights we were there!

    Lots of lovely gift shops and eateries to visit on Gallery...

    Lots of lovely gift shops and eateries to visit on Gallery Walk although parking can be tricky. Thunderbird Park is a great place with lots of varied activities for kids and adults alike. We stayed near the Botanic Gardens which was a lovely place to explore

    The overall area with lot more to do than was expected.

    The overall area with lot more to do than was expected. We enjoyed The Skywalk, the Gallery Walk & numerous walking tracks. The locations to view the setting sun. Down turn, eateries need to update their web information.

    The accommodation is set in a beautiful garden with stunning views over the Gold Coast and Mount Tamborine area and is very private and tranquil. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. We loved the home made breakfast served on the deck area with its lovely views. Owners Jess and Albert were so welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. This is a really lovely place to stay.

    The hotel offers a complete retreat experience. It’s lovely to walk around to pat the alpacas, goats, look at the fishes in the hotel’s premise. The experience staying in Songbirds went beyond my expectation and it was one experience of my life time. I would love to come back.
