Muswellbrook tend to be my home town soon.

Muswellbrook tend to be my home town soon. A lot of activities for the kids around the town: parks, playgrounds even there is a ten pin bowling and cinema. It is a bit unexpected to be so community focused for a small rural town. Good restaurants are available: Indian, Thai, Chinese cousins and of course traditional Aussie pubs. The prices are average, so you will be pleased of not spending too much. 2 shopping malls are also available with all 3 main Australia grocery stores, so not an issue to top up your stock before travelling further inland.

Friendly locals and a great country atmosphere.

Friendly locals and a great country atmosphere. We attended the nostalgia tv and film festival which was fantastic. Well done to all the organisers. We went to a fancy dress at the RSL CLub as well which was a lot of fun. We will definitely be back next year.

Mussellbrook is an old town which you pass through on the way to Scone or Singleton or further. Having stayed here a long time ago I can't say anything stands out. There is an art gallery and several other tourist spots which were outlined in our room but we didn't stay long enough to investigate.

Very convenient location. A bit of a noise but it is Muswellbrook with coal trains going round the clock. Very clean room. Breakfast: milk and cereals provided and it is a big help with small kids.
