The owner was very nice and helpful. There was a really sweet dog Louie who loved to play in the pool together. The beach was really nearby, we liked getting a coffee and or cake at the coffee place there and then sit at the beach. And we could reach all the destinations we wanted to see with the bus.

Fantastic motel and great for families/friend groups. We were a group of 8 staying in two family rooms, which was more than enough space. Pleasantly surprised about the ocean view from balcony, and staff were super accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Deb was very welcoming and helpful at any time of my stay. The house is very confortable, the room is large, the bed is good, the private terrace very nice. The swimming pool, in the shade, is very very nice to refresh after a walk. I really liked the breakfast too.

Very modern renovated unique hideaway surrounded by rainforest. View from the balcony is stunning. Kitchen is very well equipped. Comfy bed. Walking distance to the bus and Alma Bay. Wifi was working in the morning and afternoon, for the rest we had telstra coverage most of the time. Aircon might be handy in the future excspecially during rainy season to keep things dry.

Everything was very clean in the apartment and it was very cozy. The host messaged us directly with the instructions to get the keys from the lock and the check in was very easy. The apartment complex exceeded my expectations !

    Loved the area.

    Loved the area. Felt a very secluded part of the island, so we just loved that. Beautiful right on the beachfront. No road in front, completely relaxing, felt very different than other parts of the island.

    We did the Hawkins Bay walk very steep need good fitness but...

    We did the Hawkins Bay walk very steep need good fitness but the view was very rewarding once you reached the top. The Jetty is great both day and the lights are lovely at night time. We ate at the R & R hotel great meals beautiful fish tank and the service was great too. Also you must visit the Museum.

    Picnic Bay is very quiet and peaceful.

    Picnic Bay is very quiet and peaceful. The jetty was busy with fishermen on the weekend but quiet otherwise. Not many food options and very few shops. I’m glad we had our car to travel over to other areas.

    Picnic Bay is the quieter end of Magnetic Island with a lovely beach lots of birdlife and well cared for Mall area filled with shaded seating areas , magnificent Fig trees and a hotel which serves good food with bright cheerful service. There are other options for meals and more to be found in the other bay areas and the local bus service will take to all the beauty spots on the Island. If you want a relaxing holiday Picnic Bay is an excellent choice.

    This is the best appointed accommodation we have stayed in and Rod, our genial host has thought of everything and then some ! Modern and spotlessly clean Rosalita was a delight. Thank you Rod. Loved the.unusual bird calls in the early morning and the less busy Picnic Bay with its delightful beach.
